Job Role Overview
As a Backend and DevOps Engineer, you will design and develop REST APIs using Go (1.25+) and the gorilla/mux framework. You will handle database architecture using PostgreSQL and raw SQL without relying on ORMs, managing changes via Flyway migrations. On the DevOps side, you will build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Secret Manager, while utilizing Docker for multi-stage, distroless builds. Additionally, you will implement secure authentication flows with Azure AD JWT / OAuth2 and maintain high code quality standards through automated unit testing, SonarQube, and FOSSA.
Eligibility - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in Go language programming and building RESTful APIs.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, specifically writing raw SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience managing cloud workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
