Job Role Overview
As a QA professional, you will focus on delivering high-quality software products by participating in comprehensive testing lifecycles. Your primary responsibilities will include writing detailed test cases, executing manual and automation testing routines, and managing bug reporting workflows using Jira. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand system requirements, analyze software defects, and ensure overall stability through structured SDLC and STLC practices. This role demands strong analytical problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of programming languages to facilitate automated test scripts using Selenium.
Eligibility
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an MCA qualification. You must have a solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), along with hands-on exposure to Selenium and Jira. Preference will be given to candidates residing in or hailing from Uttarakhand who are ready to participate in face-to-face interviews. Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and a strong drive for software perfection are highly valued.
Required Skills and Technical Competencies - Practical experience in both Manual and Automation Testing processes
- Strong working knowledge of standard testing lifecycles including SDLC and STLC
- Direct hands-on experience with popular tools like Selenium and Jira
- Proven capability in writing functional Test Cases and systematic Bug Reporting
- Basic coding and programming proficiency to assist with test script generation
